Guitar Fretboard Scale Map
Map any scale across the neck. Pick a key and a scale and see every note, or switch to intervals to see how the shapes are built.
How to use it
- Choose a root note and a scale, from major and minor to modes, pentatonics, blues and exotic scales.
- Switch between note names and intervals.
- Pick a tuning, such as Drop D, DADGAD or Open G.
- In settings, change the number of frets, flip to a left-handed view, or show the notes outside the scale.
Questions
- Does it work for left-handed players?
- Yes. Turn on the left-handed view in settings to mirror the neck.
- Which tunings are supported?
- Standard, E♭ standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Open G, Open D and more.
Better on a bench
On a bench, the fretboard follows one shared key, so changing it on the circle of fifths or the random key updates the neck too.
